Senior marketing, product and strategy executive with 20+ experience across banking, wealth management, global cross-border payments, remittances, and health insurance. 

She combines a strong understanding of customer behaviors, brand purpose, traditional and digital marketing, with a rigorous strategic and commercial analysis and creative problem solving to help companies optimize their business model and grow. 

She started at McKinsey & Company, and since held a variety of roles in cross-border payments and FIs from American Express, where she spent 10 years in strategy, planning, product management and product development, Bupa International, as Director Strategy and Market Development function and a member of the Executive Board, then at Western Union, as SVP Global Brand, Marketing and Customer Engagement and more recently as Interim Chief Customer Officer at Tesco Bank. 

Simonetta is the Deputy Chair of the Surrey Business School Advisory Board, has served on the Board of FTSE250 Brewin Dolphin and on the Board of the Western Union Foundation.
