Terrie Smith

Terrie is a passionate mobile payments expert with over 20 years’ industry experience. She has a proven track record in the payments industry and is included in fundamental patents related to provisioning and tokenisation - She managed the development of MasterCard’s MOTAPS solution, a pioneering Trusted Service Manager (TSM) solution and was instrumental in shaping the MasterCard Digital Enable System (MDES), used to support Apple Pay. As an avid innovator capable of bringing her ideas to life, Terrie co-founded the award-winning IoT platform DIGISEQ in 2014. She is no-doubt a leading figure in the payments industry and was awarded the IET Achievement Medal in 2019, as well as crowned one of the 20 Most Influential Women in Payments by PaymentsSource in 2020.
