Judith Rinearson

Judith Rinearson is a partner at K&L Gate’s New York and London offices where she co-lead’s the firm’s global Fintech group and global Digital Assets, Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrencies group. Judith’s practice focuses on both traditional and emerging payment systems, Fintechs, open banking, electronic/mobile payments, and cryptocurrencies. She has more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry, including 18 years at American Express’s General Counsel’s Office. She has a truly global perspective, having worked both in Australia and New Zealand, as well almost two years on London. Her regulatory expertise includes compliance with state and federal consumer protection laws, anti-money laundering laws and state money transmitter licensing laws.
